FaceWork Simulations is a web-based training initiative designed by Dr. Sherry Stancil to enhance digital communication in workplace settings. Through highly realistic, scenario-based simulations, FaceWork helps individuals and teams navigate common challenges across email, messaging platforms, customer interactions, and professional social spaces.

Our mission is to improve how people communicate at work—whether that’s crafting professional emails or sensitive messages in medical portals, responding to customer reviews, managing tone in Slack channels, or recognizing how a social media post can shape workplace culture. Each simulation mirrors authentic digital environments and scenarios, allowing users to practice decision-making in a risk-free, hands-on way.

While our platform serves a wide range of professional needs, one of our current spotlight initiatives focuses on how common communication channels are being misused to exploit job seekers. These simulations shed light on deceptive tactics used via email, messaging apps, job boards, and more—empowering users to identify and avoid scams before they cause harm.
